Abhipani in Rajasthan with several departments and agencies and NGOs are involved in the development, use and monitoring of water resources. These include irrigation department, agriculture department, command area development department, state ground water department, and public health department, state pollution control board, department of industries and department of environment and forest. Besides this it has to consider the requirements of water user departments. People's participation which has bearing on integrated water resource planning and policy. Hence, it requires coordinating & collating inter department information to build up comprehensive management .The State Water Resources Planning Department (SWRPD) was created to achieve an integrated & multi sectored approach to the planning of Water Management. We actively promote drip irrigation technology which is actively supported by the state govt. through high incentive schemes and subsidies models. We also have interest in water treatment and have motto to provide safe drinking water across the remote corners of the state through public private partnership (PPP Model).
